1. Data controller

Jukana Villeta, based in Villeta, Cundinamarca, Colombia, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through jukana.co and its communication channels (WhatsApp, email and Instagram).

2. Data we collect

We collect the data you voluntarily provide: when you contact us (name, phone, email and your message), when you book online (name, mobile, email, ID, city, dates, number of guests and the deposit receipt) and when you do the online check-in (identification details of each guest, photos of their ID, arrival time, vehicle plate and emergency contact). We do not collect card data: the deposit is paid by Bre-B transfer from your bank.

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively to: (a) manage and confirm reservations, (b) register guests as required for tourist accommodation, (c) respond to your inquiries, (d) send you relevant information about your stay, and (e) improve our services. We do not use your data for mass advertising without your prior consent.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the consent you give when contacting us, booking or checking in, and on the execution of the accommodation contract. In Colombia, personal data processing is governed by Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the described purposes and applicable legal obligations. Photos of ID documents are automatically deleted one year after the stay.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We may share information with service providers that help us operate (for example, website hosting and email delivery), always under confidentiality agreements.

7. Your rights

8. Security

We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration: the site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), ID photos are stored encrypted and only authorized Jukana staff can see them. However, no internet transmission system is completely secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The current version will always be available on this page with the date of last update.
